Welcome

London is a vibrant city with something for everybody. Shopping, art, theatre, museums or simply exploring 2000 years of history. To make the most of any visit to London a personal guide can help bring the city to life and reveal aspects that would otherwise remain hidden.

That is where I come in, a qualified Blue Badge Guide with a love of the city and a passion for sharing what I know with others. Whether it’s an overview of the city in a car, a visit to a popular site like the Tower of London or a walk around a part of the City I can help make your visit both informative and just as importantly entertaining. If you would like to travel a little further afield, Oxford perhaps, Stratford or Stonehenge I can arrange to get you there and share what I know with you during the course of the day.

So if you would like to know a little more about the walks, the site visits or out of London tours then get in touch. You can contact me by phone  on 07525 356520 or visit my contact page

About Me

I qualified as a Chemical Engineer in 1975 and went on to a career in the Oil Industry lasting 35 years, during which time I obtained a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College in London. I have lived and worked in a number of locations around the UK as well as overseas in Cairo and Canton. Latterly my job took me to many places around the world including the USA, Russia, Argentina, Vietnam, South Korea, Angola and Azerbaijan.

I have always had interest in and passion for London, which has been my home for the last twenty years. Qualifying as a Blue Badge guide has now given me the opportunity to share some of what I have learnt with visitors to the Capital.

I am married to Jean from Aberdeen and we have three sons all married and with six delightful granddaughters.
